BASILDENE MANOR WEDDINGS MARGARET RIVER

BASILDENE MANOR - HOW I LOVE THIS EXPRESSION ON THE MOTHER OF THE GROOMS FACE

Mother of the groom BASILDENE MANOR

The photo that preceded this one was the moment when Damien (the groom) had walked in with his beautiful bride, Natalie.

Damien is a really fun character and on their entrance to their reception at Basildene Manor he was putting on a dance show with some “crazy legs” moves.

After the initial laughter there was a softer moment that occurred where the guests were taking in the moment. I particularly love Damien’s mum’s expression of pure love and happiness for her son and the wonderful occasion.

Also check out the fella third in from the left……..again, there is a fantastic expression on his face.

I don’t know about you but I can just look at photos like these over and over again, enjoying the different expressions on peoples faces. I spent one afternoon with these guys but when I look at these photographs I do feel connected to a wonderful feeling that was present that day.

So many emotions and good vibes. If I feel like that re looking at this wedding, imagine what Damien and Natalie and their family and friends must experience. It is a great job to be giving people such beautiful moments to enjoy.

BASILDENE MANOR - MARGARET RIVER, WHY I LOVE THIS PHOTO

WHY I LOVE THIS PIC - JOHN RICE - ETERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

I love the fact that this was photographed in the early afternoon when the sun is not wanting to play ball and the light is harsh.

Usually wedding ceremonies in Margaret River are around 4pm but this one at Basildene Manor was earlier.

By having a look around the gardens I had worked out where I could use the lighting conditions to our advantage and get some interesting photographs.

As the sun was overhead I could see that this tree was getting some really nice back lighting on the leaves. This creates a really lovely effect where the greens of the leaves glow and sparkle.

Some very easy simple direction had the bride and groom in position, relaxed and having fun.

I photographed some closer in and this one which I love shows all the branches curving through the canopy.
