Beach wedding photography

Eternity Photography specialises in beach weddings in Perth and along the beautiful coastline of WA. Location, composition and knowing how to use the light are the key skills that I use to create those beautiful beach wedding photographs that you will want to display in your home. Everyone loves a beach sunset artwork. Now imagine one with you on your wedding day for you to enjoy.

Having your wedding on the beach is one of the most romantic ways to celebrate the start of your life together! Ceremonies and receptions by the water are magical and the sounds of the waves are so calming. The softness of the sand and the scent of the beach will leave your guests feeling like they are on holiday.

Sunset photographs are spectacular in colour with natural hues and dramatic skylines. You can consider timing your beach wedding for sunset, where your guests will see you take your vows surrounded by the warm glow of the setting sun.

Keep your wedding attire light and airy. Choose fabrics that you will feel comfortable in the heat and won’t show every drop of perspiration during your day. You might want to re-consider those three inch heels that will sink deep into the sand, or you could ask for a red carpet to walk you to the aisle over the sand.

Here are some tips  so that your  day is perfect.

  1. Discuss your beach wedding with your stylist who will help you with a style that can handle the outside elements.
  2. Sun and heat can affect your wedding flower arrangements. Keep floral arrangements refrigerated until just before the ceremony is about to start and consider spraying floral decorations with water during the day to keep them fresh. Discuss your beach wedding with your florist as they can show you some simple decorations that are well secured and can handle the wind.
  3. Keep plenty of bottled water handy in eskies for your guests to avoid dehydration. Choose areas that have shade nearby or create your own.
  4. Beaches can be noisy with waves, wind and kids having fun  so consider renting a sound system with clip microphones for the bride, groom and officiate. Your celebrant will help you with this.
  5. A beach is public and you may need to contact the local council regarding serving alcohol and having a large gathering of people. They may require you to purchase a permit.
